Who is Behind Avitus?

Avitus is brought to life by a team of elite professionals with extensive expertise in DeFi, high-frequency trading (HFT), and blockchain innovation. Our members come from leading institutions and organizations, blending technical precision with a deep understanding of financial markets.

Our founders, who previously engaged in proprietary market-making within crypto markets, pivoted to DeFi protocols after recognizing the transformative potential of decentralized trading. Frustrated by inefficiencies in existing platforms—from poorly designed liquidity pools for LPs to outdated user experiences—they set out to build Avitus, a platform focused on innovation, performance, and user-first design.

Building the largest perpetual DEX on the Movement Chain required deep expertise in quantitative trading, automated market-making mechanics, and scalable blockchain systems. This multidisciplinary approach has led to groundbreaking features, such as self-hedging liquidity pools, 100x leverage, and real-time heatmaps for traders and so much more.
